Let's give it a try!
Since we're not on Facebook or another site that allows us to post pictures, we thought we'd go ahead a try our own blog. I'm hoping to have enough time to update it once a week. If anyone has any tips to share on blogging, pass them along. As you can see from our site, we've got a lot to learn!
Our first post includes pictures from our pumpkin carving night last week. Lily was pretty grossed out by the pumpkin guts and was worried about carving it. Isaac shook his head and said, "Yucky" when Chris open his pumpkin up, but loved the end results of the project and showed everyone who came to our house. By now, Marie, Jaci and Faith are pumpkin carving pros and dug right in. They spent a lot of time designing their pumpkin faces on paper before Chris carved out the final product. Marie's pumpkin is a princess, Jaci's pumpkin is toothless to match Jaci's missing front two teeth, and Faith decided to use the pumpkin she got at her school field trip. We love pumpkin carving time!

I always love your family's pictures and am so excited to see more of them now via blogging (what a funny word!). My advice for blogging is to not feel pressure to update it constantly. The funny thing is that now that you have a blog, things will happen that you immediately think, "We've GOT to put this on the blog!" The blog should be something fun that you're family can all be involved in, not another to-do list item. I do like your goal of trying to update it each week, but we'll be excited and appreciative with any updates even if it's just a picture!
