Faith's Carnival Party

The Saturday after Faith's "true" birthday she had a carnival party for some of her friends. I ended up staying up way too late the night before putting it all together, but it truly was a blast and I wasn't too tired the next day. We had different stations with carnival games, including a ball toss, clothespin drop, fishing game, jelly bean guess, and bean bag toss. The kids won tickets at their station and traded them in for a prize. In the fishing game, they "caught" a container of cotton candy, which everyone of course wanted to eat immediately. (I said no.) Their goody bag included a clown nose and even more candy. We were sure to send them off all sugared up after eating from the cake that was meant to look a little like a big top. Marie journaled about how fun the party was and that she hopes she never forgets it. Me too!

Marie had two of her friends help out running the games. Jaci ran the fishing game (in the pink shirt). We put up sheets and signs to divide the games.
