Marie is on the school volleyball team and loving it! In fifth grade you are old enough to compete in the school's volleyball team. They actually combine the two Catholic schools in town and have two volleyball teams this year. The teams compete all over the Milwaukee area in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee league. I have to say, I'm very surprised at how much fun the games are to watch! Even Teresa and Isaac sat still for the first game. Chris is the coach for Marie's team, which is currently tied for first place in their conference. Tomorrow they play the other first place team. Go Knights!

The two Waukesha Catholic 5th grade teams played each other in the silver division championship last Sunday. It was hard to walk in and see them playing their friends for the 1st place trophy, but I think the girls were more excited about it than any of the parents. It was hard to cheer against each other as you sat in the crowd with parents. In the end, there were all smiles.

Go Chris, Marie, and the rest of the Knights! How exciting. It brings back memories of my Catholic gradeschool volleyball stint. It must be a great feeling for Marie to look up and see all her cheerleaders in the stands!
